Profile

Dr. Adam Myers is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Middle, Secondary, and K-12 Education. He has served as a faculty member since 2016. He earned his Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction in 2013 from Gardner-Webb University. As the department advisor in MDSK, he assists candidates in determining and maintaining an academic plan for program completion. He works as an instructor, academic advisor, program directors in MDSK’s undergraduate and graduate programs. Throughout his career he has taught middle and high school English in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School District and has worked as a New Teacher Support Coach for the North Carolina New Teacher Support Program. His work and research focuses on teacher preparation, differentiation, and active and engaging teaching strategies.
