Joyce Brigman

Clinical Assistant Professor


Dr. Joyce Brigman is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Middle, Secondary Education in the Cato College of Education at UNC Charlotte. She also serves as the Director of the Undergraduate Middle Grades Program. She teaches in that program as well as the Secondary Minor Program and the Graduate Certificate Program. Dr. Brigman's special areas of interest include middle level education, adolescent development, and the preparation of teachers for twenty first century schools. She currently partners with local school sites to enhance the preparation of teacher candidates.
